Drawing on 25 years experience across government, academia, security, manufacturing, education and social intervention, I help organisations identify behavioural, cultural and governance risks before they become crises.

I work at the intersection of governance, behavioural analysis and organisational systems , focussing on how complexity, delegated structures and cultural dynamics influence outcomes, particularly where vulnerability, risk and accountability are involved.

Core Areas of Investigation

Governance, Security and Risk

When organisations fail the cause is often not because there is a lack of rules. More often, harm emerges through fragmented accountability, information failures , cultural dynamics, competing incentives and governance arrangements that prevent responsibility travelling with the customer, employee or stakeholder journey. My work focuses on understanding these dynamics and helping organisations identify the conditions that create conflict, dysfunction, ethical drift and foreseeable harm before they become systemic failures.

Conflict and Disruption Dynamics

Applying sociological, psychological and behavioural insights to understand conflict escalation, group dynamics and systemic dysfunction.

My key areas of working include, mimetic rivalry, conflict resolution, transactional analysis, escalation dynamics, community conflict and multi-agency working, organisational polarisation and disruption strategies. Having been trained at Hawkhills and being TACCP qualified I understand the need for systemised approach in complex environments whilst also understanding what is needed to disrupt toxic and destructive cycles of behaviour.

Behaviour Change and Resiliency

Combining operational risk methodologies with behavioral insights enables the quick identification of key vulnerabilities and the seamless integration of systems to build resiliency. These systems can be applied at an intrapersonal level or scaled to an organizational perspective. I have worked with trauma victims and abusers, as well as businesses recovering from insider threats and ensuring business continuity. My understanding of psychology, when aligned with sociology and policy formation, makes for highly adaptable consultancy role.
